Syracuse University’s individuality became a token of the university when orange was adopted as the university’s only color.

Syracuse Athletics boasts success on the field, including the 2015 field hockey and men’s cross country National Championships, and the men’s soccer team and both men’s and women’s basketball advancing to the Final Four in their respective sports in the same year. In the classroom, Syracuse’s 600 student-athletes also earn high marks with a cumulative GPA of better than 3.0.
